Reading English for Science and Technology

In partnership with the University of Guadalajara (UdeG), Mexico, the UCLA Reading English for Science and Technology (REST) program involved curriculum and materials development focused on improving the reading skills and strategies of graduate students enrolled in the UdeG's Chemical Engineering faculty. (1987-1989)

Funding for this program was provided jointly by UCLA and the UdeG, with additional assistance from the United States Information Service (which provided funding for a Fulbright Professor and five visiting Academic Specialists from UCLA).
