Samsung Corporation, Curriculum Consultation

This 2-day intensive program entailed meetings on the UCLA campus with representatives from Samsung's new Premier Program for English language instruction. (Fall 2006)

Members of UCLA's Department of Applied Linguistics shared insights concerning their experiences with content-based instruction, the training of content and language instructors, English for professional purposes, curriculum/materials development, and the effective use of technology for second language instruction. They further provided guidance on Samsung’s plans to create an interface between content and language instructors.
