Hebrew 1ABC: Elementary Hebrew (15 units)

An intensive introduction to the fundamentals of Modern Hebrew. Amaze your friends with your knowledge of Hebrew grammar! Learn to flirt and tell jokes in Hebrew! Impress your elders by reading the Hebrew Bible in Hebrew! Get started this summer on making your contribution to Modern Hebrew Literature! No previous knowledge of Hebrew required.

The Intensive Hebrew Program at UCLA offers the equivalent of one year of instruction in only 7 weeks.

All UCLA students can enroll in this course using URSA.
All other students can enroll in this course here.

Language Intensives in L.A. is organized by the UCLA Center for World Languages and UCLA Summer Sessions with support from the UC Consortium for Language Learning and Teaching, the UCLA African Studies Center, UCLA Departments of Near Eastern Languages & Cultures, Linguistics, Slavic Languages, and Spanish & Portuguese.
