Kaveri Advani, a Research Specialist at the Language Flagship in Washington, DC, will talk about Boren awards and answer your questions.
Boren Scholarships provide up to $20,000 to U.S. undergraduate students for intensive language study abroad.
Boren’s goal is to educate Americans in languages critical to U.S. national security, defined broadly to include an interest in sustainable development, environmental degradation, global disease and hunger, population growth and migration, and economic competiveness.
