It will address issues including the sociolinguistics of heritage language knowledge (e.g., bilingualism, code switching, and the use of dialects), placement, teaching the four skills, error correction, lesson planning, creating heritage classes, and mixed (heritage/non-heritage) classes. The manual will include language-specific lesson plans, syllabi, and other content.
