Minh's First Trip to Vietnam
On my first trip to Vietnam, I was excited to visit my parents’ home country. But going to a place where few people knew English, I was taking a gamble with only half a year of Vietnamese at school and little experience in conversational speech.
The first relative I met in Vietnam was my aunt. After 20 long years of hearing about us, she was excited to see my sister and me for the first time.
