Kiran Lodhie is a passionate and dedicated high school English teacher at Everest Public High School. She earned her B.A. in English and minored in South Asian Studies from UCLA in 2006, and earned her M.A. in Education and Secondary Teaching Credential from Stanford University in 2009. Kiran continues to develop curriculum for both English Literature and Hindi-Urdu courses that seeks to give equitable access of standards-based objectives to all students. Kiran has extensive education in and experience with curriculum development (literature and language), differentiated and complex groupwork instruction, teaching ELLs and students with special needs, and classroom management that supports a safe and productive learning environment.
