• Dual Language Education Program
  The UCLA Language Resource Center (with grants from the United States Information Agency), together with the Hungarian Ministry of Education (Education branch), sponsored two projects connected with Hungarian dual language (DL) secondary schools. (1989-1991)

• Korean-English Two-Way Immersion Program
  In 1991, Russell Campbell and UCLA Korean scholars initiated discussions with administrators at various levels in the Los Angeles Unified School District (LAUSD) to propose a Korean/English dual language program. (1991-1995)
