2011-12 Burkle Center Faculty Research Grants awarded
The UCLA Burkle Center for International Relations is pleased to announce the recipients of the 2011-12 Grants for Faculty Research Working Groups and Faculty Research Projects.
The Burkle Center Faculty Research Grants are intended to encourage faculty to define and develop research related to international affairs and global issues. The following four faculty research projects will be funded during the 2011-2012 academic year:
Magali Delmas, UCLA Institute of the Environment and Anderson School of Management
"The Effectiveness of Eco-Labels: An International Perspective."
Vinay Lal, UCLA Department of History
"Cyberspace, the Globalization of Hinduism, and Protocols of Citizenship in the Digital Age."
Robert Trager, UCLA Department of Political Science
"Diplomatic Calculus: How States Draw Conclusions About Each Others' Future Behavior."
Michael Ross, UCLA Department of Political Science
"Oil and Unbalanced Globalization."
