Austrian Federal Minister for Education Visits Hammer Museum, Sculpture Garden

The Austrian Federal Minister of Education of Arts and Culture, Consul General of Austria in Los Angeles and two other delegates from Austria met with key representatives from the UCLA Hammer Museum on Thursday, November 5, 2009.

A four-member delegation from Austria including the Federal Minister of Education, Arts and Culture and the Consul General of Austria in Los Angeles met with key representatives from the UCLA Hammer Museum, including Ann Philbin, Director of Hammer Museum; Douglas Fogle, Chief Curator and Deputy Director of Exhibitions and Public Programs, Allegra Pesenti, Curator of the Grunwald Center for the Graphic Arts; and Janine Perron, Associate Director of Development on Thursday, November 5, 2009. They followed their meeting with a comprehensive tour of the Franklin D. Murphy Sculpture Garden led by Hammer staff.
