Torcuato Di Tella, an emeritus professor at the University of Buenos Aires and former Argentine Minister of Culture, lectured on Feb. 23 at UCLA.
His talk was about the historical roots of Kirchnerism, the set of center-left political convictions named for the first couple of Argentine politics, former President Nestor Kirchner and President Cristina Fernandez de Kirchner. Di Tella served in Nestor Kirchner's cabinet from May 2003 to November 2004.
