A New York Times blog reports today on "Climatopolis: How Our Cities Will Thrive in the Hotter Future," by Matthew Kahn, a UCLA Institute of the Environment and Sustainability professor with joint appointments in economics and public policy. The book describes the transformations that will be caused by climate change and how humans and societies will adapt to and mitigate those changes.
