UCLA-HKUST Graduate Student Exchange Opportunities

Undergraduates and graduate students will be eligible beginning in spring of 2011 for the HKUST student exchange program, which will emphasize a focus on China or Asian Studies for up to one year.

Beginning in Spring, 2011, UCLA graduate and undergraduate students are eligible to enroll at HKUST in the School of Humanities and Social Science for up to one year (two semesters or three quarters) through the UCLA-HKUST student exchange program. The exchange shall consist of up to five undergraduates and five graduate students from the Humanities or Social Sciences with a focus on China or Asian Studies for up to one year each. Students will pay fees at UCLA and enroll at HKUST.

UCLA graduate student applications for study at HKUST should be submitted to the UCLA Asia Institute. Applications may be submitted for Spring or Fall semester, 2011. Before submitting the application, students must identify and contact a faculty sponsor at HKUST who is willing to work with them during their time at HKUST. Final acceptance into the exchange program is contingent upon final confirmation by the HKUST School of Humanities and Social Science exchange advisory committee.
