In the summer of 2009, the UCLA African Studies Center Fulbright-Hays GPA program took 13 teachers to Morroco. Project participants received intensive Arabic language instruction with seminars on Moroccan culture and society supplemented by site visits and daily interaction with the local population to create a multidimensional, dynamic learning environment. The project was based in the iconic Moroccan city of Fes, with organized excursions to Agadir, Marrakesh, Meknes, and other places that illustrate the multicultural diversity of Morocco.
Following the program, participants produced curriculum modules , which they would use in their classrooms. Below is a list of the individual curriculum units by title.
