UCLA Yangguanzhai Archaeological Field School, 2011

An 8-unit summer field school

This 8 unit program provides hands-on experience in archaeological research at Yangguanzhai, near Xi'an, China. Excavation techniques as well as other field practices (including artifact categorization and illustration, flotation, GIS, and zooarchaeology) will be taught.

The field school runs from June 19 to July 23, 2011. Limited merit-based travel stipends are available.
