Karen Leonard is a professor of Anthropology and Asian American Studies at the School of Social Sciences and the School of Humanities at UCI. Her research interests include the social history of India, caste, ethnicity and gender, and Asian-Americans in the United States. Her talk on April 27 focuses on South Asian entrepreneurs in Uzbekistan.
