Beau Beausoleil is a poet and bookseller in San Francisco, California. He founded the Al-Mutanabbi Street Coalition in April of 2007. He is the author of nine books of poetry and has a chapbook, Ways to Reach the Open Boat, forthcoming from Barley Books, U.K.
