The Nazarian Center for Israel Studies at UCLA invites applications for a Postdoctoral Fellowship in Israel Studies for a one-year term, beginning in the Fall of 2013.
Applicants from any field in Israel Studies are encouraged to apply including (but not limited to) Israeli history, politics, culture, and arts. The Nazarian Center Postdoctoral Fellow will be expected to teach one undergraduate course per quarter during his/her tenure at UCLA. PhD must be in hand by September 1, 2013 and may not have been received before 2008. A fellowship of $50,000 will be awarded to the successful candidate. The Israel Studies Fellow will hold an appointment in a UCLA Department based on the individual’s disciplinary focus and on departmental approval. Fluency in Hebrew is required.
