Traditional Language Study Programs

Baltic Studies Summer Insitute - BALSSI provides an opportunity for interested students and scholars to increase their knowledge and understanding of the languages, culture, and history of the Baltic States - Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania. BBALSSI is partially funded by a consortium of several American universities including the University of California-Los Angeles.

 

AATSEEL -- This page describes intensive programs in Slavic and East European languages as well as in the languages of the Republics of the former Soviet Union. The listings include those programs offered in U.S. (and some Canadian) colleges and universities as well as in programs abroad.

UC Consortium for Language, Learning and Teaching -- The consortium is a system-wide (UC) initiative designed to make the most effective use of UC's vast linguistic resources and expertise. The consotium fosters collaboration among and across the language programs at the UC campuses with an eye to increasing student access to language study through a combination of the best classroom practices, technological enhancements, and EAP programs.
