Cindy I-Fen Cheng received her Ph.D. from the University of California, Irvine in U.S. History with a Graduate Emphasis in Feminist Studies and Critical Theory.  Her research and interests include: comparative racial formations, gender, queer studies, urban history, and Cold War culture.
