The Kentucky Institute for International Studies
The Kentucky Institute for International Studies will be taking students to China for summer study abroad program. Faculty members from Bellarmine University and Eastern Tennessee University will offer courses in History, Political Science, and Economics. The program begins in Hong Kong, is based in Kunming,and travels to Dali and Lijiang. The last ten days are spent in Xi'an and Beijing.
Students can earn up to six hours of college credit while experiencing the historical and cultural treasures of the past and the realities of contemporary Chinese society.
May 27 to July 6, 2004
The cost for students from non-consortium schools is approximately $3,790, which includes tuition, all costs within China and round-trip airfare to China from Cincinnati. ($2,870 without airfare)
