Program Overview:
The University of Massachusetts offers summer, semester and academic year programs at both Tunghai University, Taichung, Taiwan and Fudan University, Shanghai, PR China, as well as semester and academic year programs at Shaanxi Normal University, Xi'an, PR China.  The summer program focus on Chinese language studies at the intermediate and advanced levels.  The semester and academic year programs focus on the study of the Chinese language and culture at the intermediate and advanced levels.  Students must have a minimum of one year intensive, college-level Chinese.  All programs include:  room, minor health care, tuition, and field trips.  The Shaanxi programs also include a meal stipend.
