Exploring Comtemporary Japan (Summer Institute at Kanagawa Univ.)
Study the Japanese language and modern Japanese society in this age of globalization. · Visit businesses, cultural events, and regional attractions in the Tokyo area. · Spend a few days touring the historic city of Kyoto. · Live with a Japanese family for a week. · Meet student-hosts with similar interests, like sports, computers, music or movies.
Dates:
5 weeks beginning in June, 2004
Costs:
$3,865 (includes tuition, lodging, breakfast, cultural events, trip to Kyoto)
extra $2,335 (for airfare, lunches & dinners, textbooks, optional events)
