Visiting Scholar
Awarded a grant under the Fulbright Program for Senior Scholars, Yik Koon Teh is currently at UCLA until January 2003 conducting research on the effectiveness of the polygraph test and its implications for fraud and corruption cases of the Anti-corruption Agency in Malaysia.
Yik Koon Teh received her Ph.D. in Sociology (Criminology) from the London School of Economics in England in 1994. As an Associate Professor at the Universiti Utara Malaysia, Teh's primary research was on the influence of culture and religion on the identity of Transsexuals in Malaysia.
