Freeman-Asia: Awards For Study In Asia

The Freeman-Asia scholarship is open to undergraduate students who whish to study in Cambodia, China, Hong Kong, Laos, Macao, Korea, Malaysia, Mongolia, Philippines, Taiwan, Thailand, Singapore, and Vietnam for Fall, Spring, Academic Year and Summer programs.

Award Amount - $3,000 Summer/$5,000 Quarter or Semester/$7,000 Academic Year

UCLA EAP Freeman-Asia Deadlines:*

• Spring 2007 Programs: October 16, 2006
• Summer 2007 Programs: March 5, 2007
• Fall 2007/Academic Year 2007-2008 Programs: April 2, 2007

Please Note:

• The Freeman-Asia deadline for EAP students is earlier than the national deadline. EAP students wishing to apply to this scholarship must complete the application by the EAP deadlines above.
• EAP Summer programs- Students must see study abroad counselor for additional requirements in order to apply.
