A conference for professional outreach coordinators and staff of the US Dept. of Education Title VI and Fulbright-Hays international programs (area studies centers, language resource centers, centers for international business, etc.) and others that teach about the world.
Presentations should be workshop style, issue-oriented and limited to 15 minutes each. Panel proposals will be considered. We especially encourage programs to consider funding teacher partners as presenters or discussion leaders. Proposals should address outreach issues to such constituencies as business, K-12 and post-secondary education, the general public, government, and media. Possible topic areas include, but are not limited to, best practices, opportunities abroad, curriculum development, technology, cooperative ventures, and programming challenges.
