Center for East Asian Studies at Stanford Univ. announces postdocs in Chinese studies
Open to scholars in the humanities and social sciences studying any historical period.
Applicants may not be more than five years beyond receipts of the doctoral degree.
Applicants must have been awarded a Ph.D. no later than August 1 in the year of the fellowship.
Each award carries an annual stipend.
Fellowships may be given to those who hold continuing, assistant professor-level teaching positions.
U.S. citizenship is not required.
Residence in the local area and participation in activities are required during the appointment.
The Stanford University Press will have first right of refusal for manuscripts produced during the postdoctoral period.
