For UCLA Juniors Planning Graduate Study in the Arts, Humanities, or Social Sciences
Outstanding UCLA juniors who demonstrate exceptional ability in the field of study that they plan to pursue at the graduate level are invited to apply for a 2007 Beinecke Scholarship. Candidates will be evaluated on the basis of academic merit and financial need.
In order to apply you must:
• Be a junior pursuing a Bachelor's Degree on a full-time basis (junior is defined as a student who has one more year of undergraduate study after the year of application)
• Intend to pursue a graduate degree in the arts, humanities, or social sciences
• Have a 3.6 overall GPA or better
• Demonstrate outstanding academic achievement, leadership, and service
• Have a documented history of receiving need-based financial aid
• Be a US citizen or US national
