This exhibition explores the edge conditions between the work of Toyko-based Atelier Bow-Wow and Los Angeles-based Kivi Sotamaa. By examining the juxtaposition of two dynamic and innovative laboratories, the exhibition creates a new platform for consideration of where and how technology, culture and design interact to create future possibilities.
Related Lecture Series: DOUBLE EDGE
Japan and Los Angeles form the eastern and western edges of the world, and diverse cultures and technological advances have flowed to and accumulated at these edges. This series will connect those edges to create a new center for the world and a platform for projecting the future of technology, culture and design around the globe.
