Found object for head, i.e. pingpong ball, styrofoam sphere
PROCEDURE:
Look at photographs of kimonos and textile designs.
Trace template on rough draft paper and sketch design in pencil. Remember to develop a focus of interest and balance the pattern asymetrically. Trace over design in black permanent marker (sharpie) or heavy dark pencil.
Select color of tissue paper. Lay over rough draft. Design should show through and paper with absorb excess bleach.
Pour a small amount of diluted bleach in bottle cap. Apply small amounts of bleach to areas to be lighten with Q-tip. (Be sure to have room well ventelated. I have never had any problems using bleach with younger children. Just caution them first.)
