About the speaker:
Professor Sanjay Subrahmanyam is a Professor of History and Center Director at the Center for India and South Asia. Sanjay Subrahmanyam teaches courses on medieval and early modern South Asian history; the history of European expansion, the comparative history of early modern empires, and world history.
