Education: Loyola Marymount University, Bachelor of Arts in Urban Studies (2000) and UCLA, Master of Arts in Asian, American Studies, (2004), currently a second year doctoral student in Women's Studies, UCLA.

Research Interests: Transnational and queer feminisms, Sikh-American trauma, resistance movements, organizing strategies, and masculinisms in relationship to Sikh-Americans and Sikhs in India. 

Languages: Hindi, Punjabi, and English.
