Sophia Manavi is a transfer student entering UCLA in Fall 2026, majoring in Sociology with a focus on mental health and public service. She previously served as the elected Student Trustee on the Santa Monica College Board of Trustees and is involved with UCLA Chabad and the UCLA Transfer Student Representative (TSR) office. She has also been active in Israel-focused campus engagement, including organizing an event that brought a freed hostage to speak to over 100 attendees. Sophia is passionate about inclusive dialogue and community-building, bringing a background in student advocacy to her work at UCLA.
