The UCLA Center for Study on International Migration and USCD Center for Comparative Immigration Studies in co-sponsorship with the UCLA Center for European and Russian Studies presents "Transnationalism and Walls." Presented by Nancy Green, this talk explores the return of walls to border-crossings, further questioning our focus on transnationalism? Transnationalism has become a buzzword in migration studies and beyond for three decades now. This talk aims at discussing the various ways in which the limits of transnationalism need to be addressed.
