Job Search: Chinese literature scholar

The Department of East Asian Languages and Civilizations at The University of Chicago invites applications for an open rank position in Chinese literature of the modern to contemporary period.

We are interested in research combining literary concerns with a range of cultural and historical issues. Our preference is for a scholar in the earlier stages of his or her career. Ph.D. must be completed by September of 2007. Applicants should send CV, three letters of recommendation, a dissertation or book outline and a completed chapter. When applicable, please include examples of recently published work.
