Research

The Center for Chinese Studies promotes research at UCLA by providing small grants for pilot projects; funding research assistantships; and assisting in the identification of extramural sources of funding, the writing of grant proposals, and the administration of research grants. In addition, the Center promotes the dissemination of research results by providing small publication subsidies; by providing editorial services through the UCLA Asian Pacific Monograph Series; and by electronically publishing research papers through its Occasional Papers series.
