Henry Frank Guggenehim Foundation Research Fellowships

Description: Grants are awarded to support research that increases the understanding and amelioration of urgent problems of violence, aggression, and dominance in the modern world. The foundation is particularly interested in these problems in relation to social change; the socialization of children, intergroup conflict, drug trafficking and use, and family relationships; as well as the control of aggression and violence.

Award amount: Up to $15,000 to $30,000 per year for periods of one or two years.

Disciplines: Humanities and social sciences, including population studies, psychology, social problems and conflict, social systems, women studies and feminism.

Academic Level: (1) Prospective/current graduate students; (2) dissertation-writing students; (3) postdoctoral scholars.

Citizenship: No citizenship requirements.

Requirements: Individual researchers in any of the natural and social sciences and the humanaties.
