Mexico and the History of Medicine and Gender

In this session we will discuss the history of gendered medical violence and reproductive justice, with an emphasis on centering Mexico and Latin American History within transnational topics of research. Special attention will be paid to the methodological and theoretical challenges of humanizing the humans in the history of human subjects research.
