The MAK Center for Art and Architecture presents a Japanese Tea Ceremony and Judo Demonstrations.

Held in the Schindler Courtyard and Garden, these demonstrations will be both educational and fun and will illuminate an important aspect of Yves Klein's practice as a french conceptual artist. An accomplished Judo master, Klein visited Japan and cited his Judo skills in reference to his work. Join the MAK Center for a Japanese Tea Ceremony - demonstrated by Soyu Yamashita, director of Zenshuji Sadobu, the Urasenke School of Tea Ceremony, Zenshuji Soto Zen Mission - and for a Judo demonstration taught by Korean Grand Master Seok Pil Jang of the Master Jang Martial Arts Studio.
