Dear Friends,
After a very successful concert at UCLA's Fowler Museum, AZA will return to the Los Angeles area for an intimate concert of original Amazigh (berber) music and gnawa songs. Led by master musician Fattah Abbou, AZA has toured extensively in the United States, Morocco, and France. Music of the Amazigh people is entirely danceable while intricate and sophisticated. Gnawa music is essentially Sufi trance music that relies on group singing and a driving rhythm.
