From East to West and through the centuries, tea has influenced the realms of art, religious practice, international trade, and even health. Guest curator and tea specialist Beatrice Hohenegger considers the history and culture of tea, one of the world’s most ubiquitous beverages.
The UCLA Asia Institute is pleased to sponsor the Fowler OutSpoken Lecture Series in conjunction with the exhibition Steeped in History: The Art of Tea, on view at the Fowler Museum at UCLA, August 16 through November 29, 2009.
