I currently serve as the Co-Editor-in-Chief of Ufahamu: A Journal of African Studies and work as a teaching assistant for the Department of Art History at the University of California, Los Angeles.
Prior to arriving at UCLA, I conducted research on contemporary art in Rwanda as a Fulbright Research Fellow and assisted with exhibitions of historic and contemporary African art at the Baltimore Museum of Art.
I join the Ufahamu team excited to contribute to the journal’s mission to publish the interdisciplinary work of scholars from the African continent and facilitate a community of graduate students supporting this initiative on campus.
