ABOUT THE SPEAKER SERIES

Start your international career path by hearing from professionals working in diplomacy, tech, defense and intelligence, international finance, trade, entertainment, and beyond. Learn about different fields, career paths, opportunities, and how to best apply for jobs.

The speaker series features leaders from a variety of international career pathways, including private, nonprofit, and government sectors. It is intended for students of color, designed to increase exposure and access to different international fields and professionals with the goal of advancing diversity in international careers.

The series is hosted by the Los Angeles Mayor's Office of International Affairs and co-sponsored by UCLA, USC, California State University Northridge, Los Angeles Community College District, Young Initiative on the Global Economy at Occidental College, Mount St. Mary's University, Loyola Marymount University, and Pepperdine University.
