This talk is hosted by IKAT — Indigenous, Knowledge, Art, & Truth — a collective of Indigenous voices in the Filipino diaspora. In celebration of World Indigenous Peoples Day, the talk aims to shed light on the often forgotten, re-imagined, and wrongly claimed narratives in the Philippines and its diaspora, and we hope to clear up misconceptions, miseducation, and questions from the broader community on what allyship looks like.
