It is with great sadness that we share this news. Abner served on the Center's Community Advisory Board since its inception in 2010 and was deeply committed to the Center's mission.

We were truly blessed with Abner’s generosity, wisdom and kindness, which he shared freely with us and with all who knew him. To further Israel Studies on campus, Abner and his wife Roz created an endowment which supports four Goldstine Undergraduate Fellows at the Center each year, and provides grants to graduate students pursuing academic research related to modern Israel in any discipline. He and Roz were also major supporters of many Jewish and Israel-related organizations in the community.
