Dr. Boaz Ganor currently lectures on Terrorism and Counter-Terrorism at the High Command Academic Courses of Israel's Defense Forces. He is the deputy dean of the Lauder School of Government and Diplomacy at the Interdisciplinary Center Herzliya. He is also the founder and the Executive Director of the International Policy Institute for Counter-Terrorism (ICT). He is a member of Israel's National Committee for Homeland Security Technologies, as well as the International Advisory Board of Institute of Defense and Strategic Studies, (IDSS), Singapore, and of the International Advisory team of the Manhattan Institute (CTCT) to the New-York Police Department (NYPD). He obtained his degrees in Political Science; B.A. (Hebrew University), M.A. (Tel-Aviv University; thesis: "Terrorism and Public Opinion in Israel”), and Ph.D. (Hebrew University; thesis: “Israel's Counter-Terrorism Strategy”).
The Israel Studies Program at UCLA aims to be the most comprehensive and systematic program for Israel Studies in the United States.
