Coronavirus Pandemic
Last April the Center for Brazilian Studies and Latin American Institute convened a panel of experts to discuss the pandemic in Brazil and the denialism of President Jair Bolsonaro. One year later, Brazil’s hospitals are overwhelmed, deaths are mounting, and vaccines are in short supply. And still Bolsonaro minimizes the severity of the crisis. The same experts return to discuss what can be done to turn the tide in Brazil.
