Kim Walker is the Executive Director of MAPLE Business Council, which is a Canada California member-based chamber of commerce based in Southern California. From 2014 until 2018, she and her husband, James Villeneuve, represented Canada in Los Angeles when he was Consul General. Kim has a BA in Economics and a Certificate of Bilingual Competence from York University’s Glendon College, as well as an MBA from the University of British Columbia. She has also taken classes in writing through extension programs at UCLA and Washington University in St. Louis, and in graphic design and visual arts at LA City College. Kim manages a website she created for Canadians to find First and Second World War memorials and cemeteries in Europe called CanadaRemembersGuide.com
