"The Chevalier" movie most recently placed Chevalier de Saint-Georges center stage entertaining millions of movie buffs about the French virtuoso violinist and prolific Composer for Queen Marie Antoinette.

Born in 1745 in Guadelupe on a slave plantation to a Senegalese slave mother, Nanon, Chevalier rose from the humblest of beginnings to conduct the finest orchestras appointed by French royals.
