Declaring the Global Health Minor
To be admitted to the Global Health minor, students must:
1. Have completed all preparatory courses for the minor with a minimum prep GPA of 2.00 (grades for all preps should be posted on the Degree Audit Report).
2. Have an established UCLA GPA and be in good academic standing (minimum 2.0 cumulative GPA).
3. Be able to complete the requirements within their Time to Degree*
*If adding a minor, students must still prioritize their major to ensure that they are able to graduate within their Time to Degree. If students are unable to graduate within their approved time, they may be ineligible for a UCLA degree. Students should consult with an academic advisor in the College if their academic program changes or they encounter challenges that prevent them from finishing on time.
Note: at least 20 units of the Global Health minor, both lower and upper division, have to be unique to the minor and cannot overlap with the major or another minor.
*Students who are majoring outside of the College of Letters and Science will need to follow the protocol set by their department for adding a minor outside of their College/School.
Please allow up to three weeks for your records to be reviewed and updated.
